One of Destin’s most celebrated traditions, the 2026 Destin Seafood Festival kicks off the Destin Fishing Rodeo that extends the entire month of October. The event was started in 1978 by the Destin Charter Boat Association Women’s Auxiliary. While the festival has grown into its new home on the Destin Harbor Boardwalk, the Destin Seafood Festival remains the primary fundraiser for the Destin Charter Boat Association.
The festival is always FREE TO ATTEND. Walk over 75 vendors to shop, explore, listen to music and eat delicious seafood all weekend long.
Grab your VIP tickets! A smaller, more local seafood festival will be taking place inside the larger Destin Seafood Festival on Saturday September 26 and Sunday September 27. This will be a ticketed event where attendees can sample items from local chefs and restaurants, drink local beers, and enjoy a day of fun.
